My only desire is to do my part in regards to changing the narrative. 2% representation in the aerospace industry is simply not enough. As a pilot who started late in life, it is my sole mission to expose as many minority children as possible to aviation. In order for these children to consider this career field, they need to see others and I in uniforms doing what we love. The financial undertaking of choosing this career field is not for the faint of heart but definitely worth every penny. I will do my part to obtain as many resources as possible to financially support every child I meet in which expresses an interest in aviation.
